DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. Early Morning Bar Shooting Leaves One Dead and Multiple Injured

 

A deadly shooting in Dauphin County has left one person dead and several others wounded following an incident early Sunday morning in Steelton. According to authorities, officers from the Steelton Borough Police Department were dispatched around 4:15 a.m. on March 22 to the Paradise Lounge located along the 100 block of North Front Street.

Upon arrival, police discovered three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency responders pronounced one victim dead at the scene, while the remaining victims were transported for medical treatment. Officials have not yet released the names or medical conditions of those involved, pending notification of family members and further investigation.

Fran Chardo, the district attorney for the county, confirmed that investigators are actively processing the scene and gathering evidence. As of now, no arrests have been made, and no charges have been filed in connection with the shooting. Authorities have not disclosed what may have led to the violence, leaving many questions unanswered.

The case has been handed over to the Dauphin County Criminal Investigation Division, which is working alongside local law enforcement to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Officials are urging anyone with information to come forward as they continue to piece together what happened during the early morning hours.
